Church extension & refurbishment: London Network Church, Acton London

The church was in poor condition with timber panelling and a large fireplace dominating the worship area.

The congregation entered from the front whilst the speaker stood in the middle of the building, with people walking past to gain access to the toilets etc.

The worship area was turned round so that the stage is now adjacent the road and the entrance via a new lobby to the side. The new Lobby now forms a link between the worship area, kitchen, toilets etc as well as providing space for mingling and serving refreshments.

The timber panelling and fireplace were stripped out and a vibrant feel create with a stage, lighting and baptistery. The front doors were retained, for use in weddings and funerals etc.
