The existing facilities were taking up valuable space in the main building so the Trust built a new unit in the grounds of Kenward House to accommodate the admin and training facilities.
The building is a Farmhouse style with clay tiled roof and black weather boarding in keeping with many of the local Kent barns. Timber frame construction was used for a faster on site time and to maximize insulation values. The heating is via a wood chip boiler located in a small boiler house at the rear with hopper feed.
