The site was previously occupied by a factory unit and workshop. These had to be demolished and complex foundations were required to infill the basement.
The planners insisted on twelve parking spaces and the only way to achieve this on such a tight site was in a single row leaving only a long tapered area for the building.
Two of the perimeter walls are on the boundary with no opportunity for windows so a small courtyard was incorporated to give light and outlook from the corridor and waiting room.
The accommodation includes four consulting rooms, nurse, treatment, rec/waiting and admin areas. A spare room was included on the first floor for future expansion.
